While I try my best to enjoy the moment and not wish time away, I've been dreaming of this day all week. It was good in a productive sense, and I can see that on my camera as I've got more photos of the projects I completed than of my kids. But Morgan was sick, Mark put in a lot of hours at work and there was far too much bickering going on, so I'm pretty drained. With this week behind me, I'm really looking forward to these five things coming up over the next few weeks :
Today // Christine Herrin is updating her shop and I can't wait to see what she's been up to. She has been sharing some awesome sneaks and freebies through her newsletter - so if you love her work like I do, I highly recommend signing up! (Just enter your email address at the bottom of this page).
Next weekend // Morgan and I are having our annual girl day and we are both counting down the days. So far, she wants to see Inside Out, have lunch at Pei Wei and do some back to school shopping at Target. We may fit in some crafting too.
End of August // Mark is taking a FULL WEEK off of work and I was literally dancing around the kitchen when he told me earlier this week. He works his butt off and I'm excited for some extended family time in a few weeks.
September // I signed up for Marketing for Creatives a few days ago and am looking forward to jumping into this class. With the kids going back to school, the timing was perfect for me to focus on learning a few new things, figuring out what my creative 'work' means to me and how that translates here on the blog + social media. Totally bought a fresh new notebook for it too. #dotgridforever
September 08 // Ali posted on Instagram this week that Rachel Macy Stafford has a new book coming out called Hands Free Life. Not only did I preorder it right away, but I'm re-reading her first book, Hands Free Mama, this month. Quite honestly, it's the perfect gentle reminder I need after this week.
Have a wonderful weekend!
